SCSI
Cables
SCSI (small
computer system interface) is a standard for parallel interfaces
that transfers information at a rate of up to 320 megabytes
per second (MBps). Up to seven peripheral devices, such as
a hard drive and CD-ROM drive, can attach to a single SCSI
port on the system's bus. While SCSI is standard on a Macintosh,
a PC requires an interface card in order to use SCSI devices.
Common SCSI devices include hard drives, CD-ROM drives, scanners
and removable drives.
